Miyako had finally made it. She was far from home, from her cozy pack. She had actually left the happy life she lived. The life she would've had there still unknown. But she would make a new life elsewhere, that's what she would do. And she'd make a new life here, where ever she was. She knew she was in pack territory. She had braved her oncoming existence in packlands. All for a fresh start.
The lithe female easily maneuvered between the trees, her eyes focused straight ahead. Her peripheral vision caught the trees to her side, and when the bases of trees where too close, Miyako easily jumped over them. She wasn't tired. She craved the thrill of running. She wanted to get somewhere, and her legs would bring her closer to her dreams, and hopefully, her legs would carry her to a new home, just as good as the old one.
Miyako stopped at the base of a large tree. She wasn't tired, but she knew better to strain her body. She learned the hard way when she was younger, and completely tired her self out. That day, her brother, Ryuunosuke had kept bugging her for tiring herself out and finally being 'The Weaker Sibling' for a day.
Miyako decided to wait to see if another would come. The area seemed to be fairly active, with newly trampled grass from paw prints. She wanted to be with someone else when she met a new pack.

Light blue eyes lay transfixed on the water, on it's rippling surface and the small fish that swam beneath it. Tiny rocks shifted from their places, moved by the unseen current that ran through the water. It lapped at his paws, darkening the creamy fur on his toes. A bird called out above him. He could hear it rustling its wings and moving along the branch. His attention shifted to the trees, no longer on the gurgling water. The bird above him returned his stare, black eyes filled with a certain intelligence he never knew to be there. It chirped quietly, and began to start fussing over it's grey and white plumage.
Angelus grinned. Birds were certainly interesting creatures. He would never admit it, but sometimes the brute wished to fly. To be up above the ground, safe from so many predators. That would never happen. He was a wolf, and the closest he ever came to flying was jumping off the den as a pup. The bird returned him from his thoughts as it launched off the branch, into the air and away into the forest. Slightly disappointed at the loss of his thinking companion, Angelus watched the only thing the bird had left him float to the ground. A feather. A single, perfect, grey feather.
He feared to touch it. It seemed even the lightest disturbance would send the softness and perfection out of balance. Despite this, he gently lowered his head, and touched the tip of his nose to the edge of the feather. It certainly was soft. Not so much as the hares that bolted through the trees in the winter, but still soft. Angelus grinned, and moved to his feet. Dawdling time was over.
After a quick stretch, the wolf was off. What else would he come upon today? He was alone, so he wouldn't be able to take anything big down. Oh well. Angelus wasn't in the hunting mood anyway. It seemed rather wrong to be at peace with once creature one moment and sinking his fangs into the flesh of another the next. Chuckling at himself, the brute continued through the trees, moving silently with carefully placed paws.
Angelus watched the trees go by above him, becoming a bit more careless with his paws and slowing to a walk so he could observe the birds flitting around in the branches. It wasn't until the scent of a strange wolf hit him that he snapped to attention, blue eyes alert and filled with caution. He moved forward, eventually catching sight of the female. She didn't look like a threat, and judging by the location she had placed herself in, it seemed she had wanted to be found. "I guess this means we're both trespassing..." He examined the area around him. The obvious signs of wolves were everywhere. Angelus slowed to a stop, and sat a ways across from her. Waiting for her reply. His eyes ran over her, drifted up to a bird for a moment before he snapped them back down to the female.

//Hey Angelus oDo Wolves are supposed to RP as stray's if they're not already accepted into the pack during RP, so I wrote it so Angelus was a stray.
Miyako was completely calm upon seeing the male. Her face remained nuetral, and she fearlessly pushed herself away, walking closer to the male, but kept a good distance. The black and somewhat white timber heaved a sigh. Her tail curled in towards her body slightly, an odd feature for the black timber. From a front view, Miyako almost looked like a puppy, but that wasn't the case anymore. She was an adult now.
"You're not from around these parts either." Miyako said rather bluntly. He didn't carry the pack scent she could smell in the area. Miyako stood tall and firm. She didn't want a fight or anything, but if one did happen, she would be ready. The firmer she kept her body, the less-likely chance of her getting a too-seriouis injury. Growing up with three brothers taught her that.
The fae took a few steps closer, amber eyes hard. Miyako's body was nowhere near intimidating, but when it came to facial intimidation, Miyako was best at it. With no smile, no frown, and hard-as-rock eyes, Miyako took the cake for being intimidating. Not to mention the fae could manipulate someone in a heartbeat, should she ever feel threatened.
"The name is Miyako." Miyako said firmly, looking at the male. Her pelt waved softly along with the breeze, and her eyelids slid shut over amber eyes, her body relaxing ever so slightly with the gentle winds. "You are?" she asked, her eyes sliding back open, her body instantly going back to it's firm structure.

[Crap, sorry about that. I fixed it a bit so it still works.]
Angelus tilted his head, watching her with a growing curiosity. It didn't seem like his appearance had affected her at all. He nodded as she spoke, agreeing with her. "I've grown quite aware of that." The brute told her, his expression growing a bit guarded as she moved closer.
"Angelus." He told her, rolling one of his shoulders a bit to loosen it up. "I'm not accepting nicknames at the moment." A bird flying overhead caught his attention, and he instantly looked up, following with his eyes until it disappeared into the leaves. His old loner companion had insisted on calling him Angel. The brute didn't care to be made any more feminine than he already felt. Shaking his head at the thought, Angelus shifted his weight, and glanced over his shoulder. "I've been here a while now and you're the only wolf I've seen so far. Any reason?" He was honestly curious, and he wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to get some of his questions answered.
His ears flicked, catching the various sounds of the birds above him, and he resisted the urge to start staring up into the trees again. "This is a pack territory, after all. You'd think..." Angelus's words faded as a particularly bright feathered bird behind the fae caught his attention. He blinked, the idea of finishing his sentence absent from his head. Blue eyes glanced at Miyako's face for a moment, and Angelus sighed.
"I apologize... I've been a bit... out of it today." He smiled sheepishly, lowering his head. Angelus straightened, and shook out his coat, wondering what was going to happen.

//No worries c: I'm a bit of a rule Nazi when it comes to this site ^^'
Miyako caught and followed his gaze to the bird, before her amber eyes returned on him. "They're odd creatures, hn. Their wings, and those beautiful feathers." Miyako said with a yawn. "Not to mention the uncanny ability to fly." she said, shaking her head. "I don't do nicknames." Miyako said, although, it was both the truth, and a lie. Towards anything younger or highly precious to her, Miyako used a nickname. Those who didn't fall in those categories, would just be their name.
She looked down at the ground. "Look at the ground, Angelus." Miyako said, motioning to the ground below her, littered with paw prints. "They're probably in another area, or all resting. If we want to find them, then working together and making our way up to the den is our best shot." Miyako mumbled, walking closer to the male. "And if you don't want to see me again after that, then you don't have too." she said, turning to look at the bird who had caught the male's attention
"It's fine." Miyako said, dismissing the distant behaviour. She offered the lupe a smile. She wanted to build some sort of companionship.

[I'm so sorry! I've been moving and I just got the internet set up. I'll be more way more active now.]
"Flying... Imagine a wolf with wings. Now that would be a sight." Angelus muttered, mostly to himself. "And good. Last thing I need is another wolf calling me Angel." He growled in obvious distaste. With a small huff, the brute met Miyako's eyes, listening to her as she spoke and slowly let his stare drop down to the ground in front of him. "Another area, yes. That seems the most logical." Angelus said quietly, still gazing at the array of tracks. "A den. When there is a wolf den, there is a wolf. Might as well go for it."
The last part of her sentence saddened him slightly. "Why wouldn't I want to see you again? It's not like I can't stand you or anything." Angelus asked her, a bit of concern etching around his tone. He shifted his weight, blue eyes going back and forth between her and the bird. "I'm not like that." The brute whispered, and focused back on Miyako as he took a hesitant step forward.
"Perhaps we should get going?" Angelus asked, turning slightly and wondering where they were going to go.

//Ayee, no worries! c:
"A wolf with wings. My mom used to tell me of those in old, old legends. They were free, but not accepted everywhere. I'd rather be accepted somewhere then free." Miyako said, shaking her head. "I think Angel is a nice name. But Angelus is a nice name as well." Miyako yawned, watching the ground. "My nose is strong. I can sniff it out." Miyako smiled slightly.
"Sometimes, I'm not a pleasant fae to be around. If my four brother's were here, they could add onto that." Miyako said, a fully-formed smile gracing her face. Despite the sibling rivalry, with Miyako being top-dog, they all loved each other equally, and were indeed, very close, Motochika taken for example. Miyako stepped forwards, pressing her nose to the males in a friendly way.
"Hai," the female spoke in Japanese, as she began to walk forwards, nose lowered to the ground. "Follow me. I think I can get us there."

"You'd think they would be admired." Angelus chuckled. "Nothing wrong with Angel, except for the fact that it's a fae's name. I might not be the most masculine wolf, but I'm fairly sure I am a brute." His tail flicked, and he flashed an amused grin at the wolf. "Pleasant or not, I'm not just gonna run off. Promise." Angeus told her, and turned in a tight circle, just for the sake of moving again. He blinked when their noses touched, and returned her smile when she started forward.
"Hai?" Angelus questioned, watching her curiously. "I hope you're nose is as strong as you claim. I'd hate to run into a bear instead of another wolf." He began to follow her, glancing around to see if there where any birds close enough to watch. A twig snapped beneath his paw, causing the brute to pause and curse quietly before moving a bit faster and placing his paws more carefully.
"You are officially the nicest wolf I've spoken to in a while. Is that strange? Let's see, there was that loner, Kimat, my dad..." His voice continued to get quiet, until he spoke about his family in a whisper. Angelus silenced when his eyes fell on the fae in front of him again.

"You would." Miyako smiled, shaking her head. "Well, I think of it as both a fae and a lupes name. For a fae, Angel would mean beauty and sweetness, but for a lupe, I think Angel would mean a Protector. You know what I'm saying?" Miyako said, amber eyes shining. With the promise of the male staying by her, Miyako couldn't help but smile. He was the first wolf she had encountered in a while, and the sweetest, especially for a male.
"My parents spoke Japanese, so i speak what I learned from them. Hai is 'Okay' or 'Yes.'" Miyako smiled brightly. She praised herself for her knowledge. Hearing the comment about running into a bear, Miyako couldn't help but laugh. "My nose has gotten me this far without trouble. Who's to say it'll turn on me now?" she snickered, gently swatting the male with her tail.
"Really? You must not have met a good sort." Miyako said, as the male continued with the rough sort he met. "Who's Kimat? What was your past like?" Miyako asked, her tone much softer then it had been upon first encounter. Although she lived a good life, she was sympathetic towards those who hadn't gotten it as easy as herself.

"You have a point." He admitted, nodding his head slightly. "But as far as all those who dubbed me with it are concern, it's feminine and meant to to irritate me to no end." Angelus swung his head around, nibbling at an itch on his shoulder and considering Miyako as she explained 'Hai'.
"Japanese, huh?" Angelus had never met a wolf who spoke anything of a different language. Well, now I've met their pup so I guess it counts. "Noses are strange, you never know when they might betray you." The brute teased, looking pointedly at her muzzle. His eyes lost their humorous gleam as she spoke a bit softer, asking about Kimat and his past.
"Kimat is my half sister. Last wolf like you I spoke to. The rest were rather... cold." He thought for a moment, although his eyes were still concentrated on Miyako. "My past? Not that bad, really, there just never seemed to be family around and Kimat constantly hung around my less than accepting father, and that made things a bit difficult. But I'm happy now, so why complain?" Angelus offered a small smile, chuckling and shaking his head. "Don't let me make the mood too depressing."
