Azriel
The large figure weaved and moved with ease through the dense undergrowth. It was home to him and that would never change. Not until the day he died anyway. His pelt was a beautiful array of browns, blacks, and greys. The black was thicker along his spine but after that the rest melded together to mix and bend together as thick muscle writhed and moved as he glided on his way. His tail was held high and his head was held in a regal way. Two silver eyes stared about him, daring any who looked into them to look away. They were hypnotizing and little black specks seemed to swirl and dance within their depths. Dominance and power radiated from the wolf in thick waves, something that usually caused anyone near to lower themselves in a submissive way.
White fur was beginning to cover his muzzle and face in his age though. At nine years old, Azriel had went from a fierce mature male, to beginning to feel his age. He was still fit though, and more then a match for the young males that would occasionally challenge his rank. Scars littered across his healthy summer pelt, evidence of all the fights he'd fought and won. His movements were less agile then they had been when he was younger, but he was still formidable.
Azriel paused atop a fallen log and perked his ears, one paw raised as he paused in mid step. The black red nose at the end of his long muzzle twitched as he sniffed the air, a soft wind ruffling his fur as the wind blew scents into his sensitive nose. His eyes narrowed just slightly as his tail went higher in alert, before lowering as a fox darted from its hiding place within the brush and took off after a rabbit. Snorting, the Alpha male jumped off the log and continued on his way. There was a light air about him, caused by the happiness he was feeling. For one, no memories of his old pack had currently haunted his dreams, not with Dusk laying by his side at night. A light sigh escaped the brutes muzzle as he thought about his mate. They'd been together for a while now, and he couldn't have been happier. She was the reason why he felt whole again, and he didn't think he'd be able to live again if she were to pass before him.
